The doormat will be shipped rolled up. This may cause some temporary creases. Simply lay it flat on the ground, and the creases will gradually disappear.
Due to the material, the doormat will have a PVC odor.  The odor will gradually lessen and disappear after being placed in a well-ventilated area for a period of time. To speed up odor removal, you can try soaking the doormat in salt water for 30 minutes, then rinse and dry it.
